How To Make Your Own Photoshop Brush Tips And Custom Shapes

https://adobetutors.blogspot.com/

The first thing to know is that any piece of artwork can be used as a brush tip. All you need to do is go to edit – define brush preset, choose a name for it and click OK. This will add the brush to your custom list and from now on it’ll be available for you to use in any of your projects just like the presets.
It’s also good at this point to open up the brushes panel and set all of the other parameters to get exactly what you want before a final save is done. This final save involves going to the Photoshop brushes menu – new brush preset – and saving once more. Now you’ll have everything set up and ready at a single click.
The maximum size allowed for a brush is 2,500 pixels. If you go larger than this then you’ll find it gets grayed out by Photoshop and you’ll need to reduce its pixel size. Brushes are always in grayscale so even if you found, set up and saved your custom brush within a particular color, the brush itself is always saved as a gray scale.
In the following articles we’ll talk more in tutorials about Photoshop Brushes and get into some real specifics and examples such as Human Nature Textures Abstract, Splatter Symbols, Vintage effects, Ornaments and Brusheezy to create some truly original psds.
