1) Move Tool - 

designed to select layers and manipulate them, for example, with the help of it we drag layers across the document. 

2) Rectangular Marquee Tool - 

designed to select the document area (this tool has several types of selection: rectangle, oval, column or line). 

3) Lasso Tool - 

it, in turn, is needed to select a more complex shape. This tool also has several varieties: lasso - the selection will follow the cursor path; polygonal lasso - selection is done by specifying vertices; magnetic lasso - it will try to determine the boundary of the object that is selected. 

4) Magic Wand Tool

this magic wand highlights the area of ​​one color (sensitivity can be set). 

5) Crop Tool - 

crop the document area. 

6) Pencil Tool - 

a pencil, the name speaks for itself, for drawing. There are also other varieties: pencil and brush. 

7) Clone Stamp Tool - 

area cloning. A very useful photo retouching tool. 

8) History Brush Tool - 

the original tool for interacting with the history of changes in the document. Shows in a certain area what it was before, for example, before applying a sharpness filter. 

9) Eraser Tool - 

in other words "eraser". 

10) Gradient Tool

gradient fill. The second type of tool is a uniform color shading (the tool is applied to the selected area) 

11) Blur Tool - 

brush blur. Other varieties of this tool: sharpening and brushing. 

12) Dodge Tool - 

highlighting area. Another type of tool: dimming. 

13) Pen Tool - 

pen. Designed for building and editing paths. 

14) Horizontal Type Tool - 

a tool for creating / editing text. You can type text, both horizontal and vertical.

measuring the color of a point.

21) Default Foreground and Background Colors - 

sets the initial colors for the background and foreground. Switch Foreground and Background Colors - swaps these colors among themselves.

22) Set Foreground Color / Set Background Color - 

set color values ​​for the moment. 

23) Edit in Quick Mask Mode -
