This tutorial mainly uses Photoshop to call out the beautiful
yellowish Japanese color. The Japanese style is mainly light yellow, and then
the lighting effect is rendered to complete the final rendering. Let's learn

The next thing I want to say is:
1 In fact, doing Japanese-style films does not necessarily
require absolute Japanese-style shooting methods. Until now, I don't know what
Japanese-style shooting methods are.
2 A lot of friends said that when the Japanese film is shot, it
will take a little more exposure. In fact, the film with normal exposure can be
even better.
3 Some friends say that Canon's camera is more suitable and
more likely to produce Japanese-style films. I don't think it is necessary. As
long as the ideas and methods are reasonable, what cameras can be adjusted.
4 There are still many friends who say that the Japanese-style
film, the model must be beautiful, I personally always think: "The
photography with the beautiful model as the premise of shooting, are all
rogue", Japanese-style photos,
I think that there can be no one, just a still life or a still
life.
5 The following film is the original material, but it is not
the original film. It should be the film after the basic processing.

model. It was a material uploaded by a friend in the group for everyone to
practice later.
6 As for whether you are seeing Japanese or not, I am not sure
about it myself...
7 I have written each step, but it does not mean that these
steps are fixed. Of course, the parameters of each step are not fixed. All
operations are based on the requirements.
Step1
Purpose: Basic picture correction
Method: 1. Use the 'Lens Correction' filter to level the water
surface.
2. Use the crop tool to recompose the image.
3. Use the liquefaction tool to make appropriate adjustments to
the character's facial features. In this example, only minor adjustments were
made to the character's jaw, humerus, and right eye, and no changes were made
to the figure.
Step2
Purpose: Picture brightness correction
Method: Use LAB mode to adjust the brightness of the screen.
The process and parameters can refer to the following figure.
Remarks: 1. You can create new actions according to your
preferences and perform actions in the future.
2. The parameters are not fixed and can be adjusted as needed,
but the opacity of the AB channel must be the same.
Step3
Purpose: Basic color cast
Method: 1. New shape overlay screen
2, set the graphic color, commonly used dark blue and dark purple,
should set the color as needed.
3. The shape layer property is set to 'exclude'.
4. Adjust the shape layer opacity as needed.
Remarks: 1. The darker the shape layer, the less the color of
the dark part of the picture is, and there is no color cast when it is pure
black.
2. The higher the opacity, the more obvious the color cast
effect of the picture.
Step4
Purpose: Sharpen the character part
Method: 1, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E stamp layer
2. Use the 'High Contrast Hold' filter on the stamped layer
with a radius of 1.
3. Set the blend mode of the stamp layer to 'glare'.
4, add a mask, painted black non-personal part.
5. Copy the above results to enhance sharpening.
Remarks: You can use a caliber brush when blackening the mask.
The hardness is low and can be applied roughly. It does not need to be very
fine.
Step5
Purpose: Reduce saturation
Method: 1. Add a 'natural saturation' layer.
2. Improve natural saturation and reduce saturation.
Note: 'Natural Saturation' is similar to multi-segment dynamic
processors in digital audio, which improves the saturation of pixels that are
not saturated in detail and protects the already saturated pixels in the image,
making the color transition more natural;
And 'saturation' is the direct adjustment of the color
vividness. The former increases the latter's reduction, but it can be used
to homogenize and then lower the overall low saturation, and the color is more
natural.
Step6
Purpose: Second color cast
Method: 1. Add the 'Select Color' layer.
2. Adjust the parameters of each color channel to obtain a
better color cast effect.
Remarks: 1. One of the adjustment points, the character's skin
color is pink and transparent, reducing the proportion of the skin's yellow
skin.
2. Adjust the focus of the second, adjust the green and blue to
the blue-blue direction, then the blue sky and green plants will have a
blue-blue color.
3, the character skin color and blue-green gas rushing each
other's containment and influence is small, can be adjusted independently.
Step7
Purpose: Third color cast
Method: 1. Add a 'color balance' layer.
2. Perform color cast adjustment on shadow, midtone and
highlight respectively.
Remarks: 1. The amplitude should not be too large, and the
excessive amplitude will negate the coloring result of the previous step.
2, color balance and color selection can be switched at any
time to adjust to get the most favorite color effect.
Step8
Purpose: Shade adjustment
Method: Add a 'curve' layer and adjust the parameters.
Remarks: 1. The amplitude should not be too large. The
excessive extent will immediately destroy the existing color perception.
2. Adjust the brightness of the screen only in the RGB channel,
no need to adjust the color channel separately.
3. This step is only to correct the distortion of the picture
caused by the two color casts.
Step9
Purpose: Darken the background
Method: 1. Stamp the layer and use the 'Gaussian Blur' or 'Lens
Blur' command.
2. Set the layer blending mode to: Multiply.
3. Add a mask and roughly black out the characters.
4. Adjust the layer transparency as needed to control the
degree of background darkening.
Remarks: 1. This method is very suitable for darkening the
blurred background of large aperture shooting, which will make the background
more layered.
2, the mask black can only be roughly accurate.
Step10
Purpose: Background color cast separately
Method: Add a 'color balance' layer, roughly apply the black
part, adjust the background color as needed.
Remarks: Most of the previous color casts are based on the
color of the person's skin. This step can separate the character from the
background and adjust the background separately. You can also use this method
to adjust the color of the person's clothing and hair.
Step11
Purpose: to deepen the background layering
Method: Add a 'tone' layer (or curve layer) to enhance the
contrast of the picture, fill the mask with black, and use a large-caliber
brush to express the background area on the mask.
Remarks: This step is more casual, and can be drawn according
to your own needs and preferences.
Step12
Purpose: draw sunlight
Method: Create a new blank layer, set the layer properties to:
glare, draw the sunlight with a light orange large-diameter brush, and adjust
the opacity to control the light intensity.
Remarks: The position of sunlight entering the screen must be
mild with the light-receiving condition of the character itself. Otherwise,
logic errors will occur. The daylight color is mainly warm, and pure white can
be used, but try not to use cool colors.
Step13
Purpose: Simulate lens reflection
Method: Create a new blank layer, set the layer blend mode and
the large-diameter brush color as needed, and draw the lens reflection effect
as needed.
Remarks: A completely random one-step operation, the drawing
method is fetishism, and the painting is not drawn or random, mainly depending
on the current picture feeling. In this example, a little yellowish color
is added to the lower right corner of the screen.
Step14
Purpose: Dyeing photos
Method: Add a 'photo filter' layer and increase the warmth of
the picture as needed.
Note: The photo filter is very useful for late use. Although it
can't accurately adjust the color temperature as in CareraRaw, it can be used
to dye the photo and make the picture full of warm yellow.
Step15
Purpose: second shading adjustment
Method: Add a 'curve' layer to adjust the picture brightness.
Remarks: This step may or may not be necessary. After a few
steps, the brightness of the screen will change. When you find that the
brightness of the screen needs to be adjusted, you can add a curve layer to
fine-tune at any time.
Step16
Purpose: Analog exposure
Method: Add the 'exposure' layer, slightly increase the
exposure, use the gradient tool on the mask or manually draw, the exposure of
the light into the direction is strong, and the exposure of other parts is
normal.
Note: The gradient tool should be set from pure black to pure
white. In this example, the exposure in the upper left part is slightly
increased, and the exposure in the lower right part is unchanged.
